If you want to do your part in saving the earth, then here are some tips on living green:

• Try to use less fuel than usual. It won't hurt to walk every now and then. If you live out in the middle of nowhere, however, then only drive to town whenever necessary. Try doing all your business and shopping all in one trip.

• Recycle more. Practically anything can be recycled these days: plastic, paper, cans, etc. Not only will you be helping the environment, but you'll also be making extra money!

• Power your home with solar panels or wind generators. Both sun rays and the wind are clean, renewable, and unlimited. You'll be slashing your monthly electric bill significantly!

• Only buy vegetables and fruits that are organic, since they are grown naturally without pesticides.

• Carry a canvas bag or two around with you whenever you go shopping. They are a great deal more environment friendly than plastic bags.

These five tips on living green may not seem all that much, but they really are helpful. They are great tips for getting you started, and the more you become used to living green, the better!
